Do your makeup

Hey date twin! I plan on doing my own hair and makeup for my wedding. All of us girls are going to meet up that morning and pool of our resources to get ready. There's only 5 of us and it's going to be a very low key wedding so I'm not too worried.

I’m trying to decide this too! Initially, I had definitely wanted a professional hair and make up artist the day of. However, I was recently a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding, and the professionals made us look like drag queens with crunchy hair!! 🤦🏼‍♀️ We all had to desperately try to scrub our faces and redo our hair and make up before the ceremony. It was awful! And she spent a lot of money on these people (Who, by the way, had great reviews online)! After that experience, I am wondering if I should just do my own hair and make up. We are most familiar with our faces and what make up looks good on us, and which hairstyles. I am starting to think that doing lots of hair/make up practice runs at home to prepare for the big day may be more advantageous than hiring someone else to do it

Especially the lashes that look like house awnings eye lids covered in all this glitter and eyeshadow, i just cant 😫 but I also was talking to my bridesmaids and they are doing their own makeup. I'm really thinking about doing the same. Then you have that one bridesmaid who says you should treat yourself one time it's your big day. And I'm like awww man she's right 🤔 I'm alil stuck uggghhh😓
