Hey there! So my wedding ceremony will be very simple. Just civil union with a wedding officiant. I wanted to use bridesmaids at the beginning but I think it would be too much for my wedding, since it's very simple. But I'm still walking down the aisle with my dad, exchange rings and I will wear a gown since my family and friends will be watching me. It will be at a house and we will also have a reception afterwards. I still would like to make a good entrance. Do you have any ideas? I was thinking that maybe my mom could walk with my brother and then the two witnesses can also walk. Then me and my dad. Or how should I do it? Because just me and my dad would be too short for an entrance. We will have around 50 guests. And I didn't want bridesmaids because the house is not that big for a ceremony. But it's perfect for the kind of ceremony I'm having.

I had no wedding party and it was fine. Less stress. My wedding had about 55 people. I've been to larger weddings with no bridal parties too. I think large bridal parties are more trouble than they're worth.

I'm not using BM. My FH son is going to stand up there with us and be included. My sister is going to help me get ready and it's just going to be my dad walking me down the aisle. Our invite list is around 200 but I didn't want the hastle of BM. My sister would've been MOH anyway so I'm just saving her the money of a dress.

I don't think it's weird at all. You're saving yourself time, money, and drama.
