Do you count vendors as guests for head count for food?

Ehh count vendors as vendors. You absolutely feed them and give your caterer the number of them, but they’re not exactly part of the guest list and many caterers count vendor meals differently. So I would give a guest count list and a vendor count list

Unfortunately yes, and mine are priced the same as guests which is going to add up, so I've tried to limit my number of vendors wherever possible - if you're worried about head count or cost, think about ways to limit, like going with a small band or DJ vs. a large band, don't have separate emcee, cocktail/dinner, and dancing musicians (we're actually using a violinist that also DJ's and emcees), and consider skipping the wedding planner (I know everyone on these sites always says you should get one, but I've helped plan 4 very nice weddings without one and never felt like paying thousands for a planner would've been necessary).
