Do you count band member/photographer in your numbers?

The photographer and band we are hiring are local and will be there for almost the whole wedding. Do we seat them at a table and include them in the catering count? I don't want to be rude but that will add like 6 people. What is proper etiquette? I mean, they have to eat too.

Awesome! We will count them in and ask the caterer about vendor pricing!

I would definately feed them but not seat them. A sandwich tray or other food that is served room temp always works great for me. I would never have the time to sit & eat the full meal anyway - small bites behind the scenes it my preference.

Talk to your caterer, they've most likely encountered this before. My venue offers Vendor meals at 1/2 price, or free if you use their preferred vendor, and sits them off to the side so I didn't have to use my limited space for vendor seats.

As for food allergies, I'd make sure to let the vendors know you've included them for dinner and to make sure there's no one that has allergies. Also my Officiant asked if he and his wife were invited (they've been good friends of my grandparents forever) and he said that if his wife saw us "making room" for them she would just leave.

Ashley, the reason why I had to think about it is because we are paying for most of the wedding on our own and it adds about 7 people to the head count (that's a few hundred dollars). I have no problem seating them and including them, I just wanted to see what is usually done. Thanks to my posting on here I can ask the caterer about vendor pricing.

    Thanks ladies (and gentlemen)!

My question is normally the vendors don't give you a break in prices. I am counting every person. Some of friend can't be invite becouse the budget not aloweed so i will not pay for vender food instead of a friend can be invite to my weeding. I feel like don't know what to do ??.
