I think it looks fine! But I like it when the whole bridal party has the same length of dress, but a different top design. I think it also depends on what the weather will be like in September where you're located.

Yeah its hard to find same dress in another color tat matches our colors. The only way I could see to make her stand out was to get same dresses but MOH a different length

I think that can work I mean usually bridal parties have the same length but I feel it is a nice way for the MOH to stand out. I mean I have been in weddings where we have different styles so I think it looks good.

I can't stand the short and long look. My friend did this for her wedding and I thought it looked terrible. My sister-in-law also let her bridesmaids pick what length they wanted as long as the dress was the same color and again I think it looked horrible. My maid of honor was going to be in the same dress as my bridesmaids, but there ended up being tons of drama and she got a different dress at the last minute. She had a large bouquet than the bridesmaids to stand out. If you don't like a different color, maybe pick a different style dress or have larger bouquet like my maid of honor, but I wouldn't recommend different lengths.

Daughter's entire party wore the same long dark green dress, but we added a thin jeweled belt to the Maid- and Matron-of honors' dresses -- they stood out, but everyone looked cohesive and coordinated. Initially, daughter considered short dresses for everyone, but her BMs ranged in height from barely 5' to 6'. After looking at photos of wedding parties with that much height variation, she felt like the huge differences in where the bottom of short skirts ended was more distracting than she liked. Also, she's nearly 6' tall herself and she was a BM in a wedding where all the other BMs were very petite; what was an appropriate "short dress" on them was completely indecent on her -- like she wore bike shorts under her dress because she was so concerned about flashing people. Long dresses can be much more forgiving! Smiley winking

FWIW -- daughter's dresses were the same color as your photos, but they got them from Azazie and she and the five BMs were super happy with the quality, price, and customer service. Azazie has an option to order dresses to try on for a nominal cost, if you're concerned about not being able to try them on before ordering. Also, custom sizes (including length) cost the same as standard sizes, so it can save a lot on alterations. Daughter initially considered a dress at David's that was pretty similar to your photos, but read a lot of negative reviews about the quality of the fabric and workmanship. Like I said, she was much happier with Azazie. Good luck!

Honestly, I really am not a fan of mixing dress lengths. It tends to look sloppy. Also, I will say I wore that dress (short version) as a bridesmaid and it was just awful. Super cheap fabric and a really awkward fit for anyone with a bust.

I think it looks good! I don't mind the differing lengths at all!

If you want the same length... I have my MOH in the long one shoulder and my bridemaids in these!
