Do these invites look ok?

Riley, on July 11, 2020 at 11:16 PM Posted in Planning 0 12
I am going to order these. I was just wondering if the wording is ok. And they look ok. I don’t really have anyone to help. I did blur out the address. Do these invites look ok? 1

I’d put an rsvp date on there, and a ceremony time, idk if that part is blurred out.

This is not related to your question, but until I saw your wedding website at the bottom of your invite, I didn't realize I could customize our URL! So I did some digging and just figured out where to do that, and made our URL much shorter/simpler, so THANK YOU!! Smiley smile

The invites are worded informally, if that’s what you’re going for. I think they look fine and agree with PPs to include the ceremony time. I’d also write “at” rather than use @.

This is unrelated, but I’d test out your website for RSVPs and make sure it works before you direct all your guests there. I know a lot of people post about problems with their WW websites, but once you give out the link you’re stuck.

Thank you. I don't really know how to do this lol I am not really a formal person so I didn't know.

I did make sure the website worked. Thank you for your advice.

I think they look nice! It's perfectly fine to use informal language and there's absolutely nothing wrong with wording them this way if you're comfortable with it. But, even casual wedding invitations are typically written in the third person. So it would be, "Riley Ingle & Andrew Broome invite you to THEIR wedding..."

(I used all caps for "their" because I'm on my phone and don't know of a better way to emphasize text, I'm not trying to be obnoxious.)

I second this! Should be ‘their’ not ‘our’.

Date is missing commas - “Saturday, September 12, 2020”

Oh no you are not being obnoxious at all. I appreciate the feedback. I just stink at this and the invite I edited was originally a elopement announcement. I just loved these so much and decided to change it.
