Do people really do color schemes?

Do you have a third color to go with the bridesmaids dress color? If not, your colors are blush and gold. People use color schemes to help with their decor, flowers, reception place settings, invitations, etc.

I basically asked my guests to avoid the colors that me and my bridesmaids will be wearing so that they don't get mistaken as a bridesmaid and just for the purpose of them standing out more.

The thing with indian weddings is they are extremely colorful. My fiance is African American so I want to be helpful with the colors scheme.

I found a few palettes that are close to your colors. What are your thoughts on adding magenta/deep pink?

I thought it would! The blush and magenta/berry color will work to create a balancing contrast in the pink hues.

In general you ask so you don't match, so this is interesting for sure! I love the emerald green as a color with blush

I don't know how you feel about this, but what if everyone else wore black or white or both? Not sure if you still don't want others wearing white since you won't be wearing it. But then you, your bridal party, and your decorations would really POP!

I’d simply tell anyone who asks that your dress is emerald and the bridesmaids are blush and gold so everything else is fair game! Whenever I ask
brides about colors, I do so because i am trying to make sure NOT to show up in the same color as the bridesmaids !
