do not use Ww’s hotel blocking service!!!!

So in March I searched for hotels using wedding wire’s hotel block search function. I did not reserve rooms, but requested a quote. I was promptly spammed with several emails from a WW service rep about completing a block, which was fine because I expect spam when using internet search functions. Since it was a person emailing me, I explained that my mom already made a reservation with the hotel. She then found my mother’s information through the hotel, and somehow booked rooms based on my initial quote unbeknownst to either of us. I never made a reservation through this woman, and neither did my mom. This is not okay. My wedding is in two weeks, and she just emailed me to ask about upgrades for rooms I wasn’t aware were reserved in my name with my mother’s credit card information. Moral of the story- I wouldn’t use this sketchy service. I’m pretty laid back and never leave bad reviews, but this is not right. My mom was able to sort out the situation with the hotel and has called the sketchy rep to get an explanation...
