I originally wanted a wedding planner until I found out they're about $2k. 
Now I just feel like I need someone to coordinate the ceremony and wedding itself to make sure all activities take place, and make sure everyone is where they should be at the right times. HOWEVER, from what I've found is that most coordinators are planners and they want the whole package.
In your wedding, did you have one or not? If yes, was it a professional or a family member? If no, did everything go as plan? Did you have any issues feeling lost or wondering where you should be (especially during the ceremony), or when your husband and his groomsmen should stand at the alter, or when to start the music or walk down the aisle? lol. Any issues with forgetting activities like the boquet toss or garter toss?
