Do I bring hostess gift to the bridal shower?

My bridal shower is this Saturday and I bought a hostess gift for the two hostesses. I also bought a card for each to show my gratitude. Do i bring the gift with me to the shower and give it to them then? Or do I wait and give it to them afterwards. Or should I give them the gift at the shower then send them a thank you card after the shower?

You can bring them with you to the shower and give them to the hosts then (both the gifts and the cards).

I would give it to them after the shower - but it's all personal preference and how easy it is to get the gifts to them! My only hesitation is pre-writing the thank you note before you even have the shower! I'd want to make sure to include any details / surprises from the shower that I loved! But you can also make the thank you note about all the hard work they've done pulling it all together!

I gave my gifts to each of my hostesses privately at the end of the shower. I did send both of them thank you notes after as well; those were more for the gifts they gave me but I thanked them for hosting also.
