Definitely check the vendor tab and start emailing/calling ASAP. If that's really your date, you may need to contact lots of photographers before you find one that's available. I was a year out when I booked mine in this area and I encountered lots of people who were already booked.

We found rates from $3k to $7k, but you can find more expensive photographers if you want someone who's been in the DC bridal magazines. You'll also find cheaper rates, but I feel like photography is like many things where you get what you pay for.

People from the DMV got it lol.

My photographer seemed pretty middle of the road in terms of pricing, our package is $4k. E-photos, 10 hours day of wedding, unlimited free digital prints. Plus, we loved her work, and as soon as we met her, we just clicked.

And yes, Vendor tab is a big help. Narrow by price if you need to but expect the prices in the DMV to be expensive particularly in DC, Baltimore and NoVa.

Calypso Digital - I believe I paid $2,200?. Tigran was great to work with. Really good energy and ideas. This was for all day shooting plus one other photographer and he did our engagement photos. Company is based out in MD and my wedding was in N. VA. Check them out on the vendor tab.
