Dj & photographer questions

Nicole, on August 14, 2019 at 8:18 PM Posted in Planning 0 7
Hey everyone! So my DJ has all these online forms for me to fill out so I’ll getting into it tonight. One thing it asks for is day if contact.....am I supposed to have someone assigned to talking to my DJ or do they just want my or my FH’s contact info? My photographer is asking the same stuff.

This would be the contact information for someone other than the married couple to help organize day of. Normally, this is a Day of Coordinator, but I've also seen a close friend/family member being asked to be "in charge" of directing vendors when they arrive.

Yeah it’s a very small wedding of only 55 people. I don’t have anyone doing that...guess I should find one? Hahap

I would ask someone not in the wedding party if they would be willing to do this if you're not going to hire a DOC. You don't want to be dealing with vendors while you're trying to get ready day.

I would maybe put both? You are the primary contact and so is your fiancé. But you’ll be busy the day of and there’s so many vendors to talk too the day of the wedding. I would ask your wedding party if they’d be okay being in charge of communication with a vendor and ask your family members too!

If you don’t have a day of coordinator I would suggest to give the number of your maid of honor or whoever would be in charge of logistic and time. They ask for this in case they need to call you for an emergency or to ask a question. I would avoid giving your number as you might not have your phone with you or you might not want to deal with the intense planning that day.

I may have to ask my sister to do this. My MOH is my 16 year old daughter. We are only having our children in our bridal party.
