Yup! We are using Spotify and a speaker system we bought from Costco with a microphone. Just made playlists and my day of coordinator is going to play first dance, daughter father, mother son and then hit the reception music. SO inexpensive if you need ways to cut down on money.

Hi Anne! It's certainly possible to incorporate alternative music options other than a DJ. If you plan to use a laptop, just make you're able to connect them to speakers, and also be sure to get a system that will project the music at a volume loud enough for everyone to hear. I would also look into seeing if you can at least get a host to announce important sections - like maybe a close friend or family member! I hope you're able to work something out! Good luck!
