dj and Photobooth tipping

My DJ owns his business, and only takes cash payment day of. He is also providing the photobooth. He is bringing with him 2 additional people to help man the DJ and photobooth.
Do I tip him and/or his people? Obviously we’re feeding them, but is a tip expected as well?

I would tip for exceptional service. We tipped all of our vendors, our Photo Booth and DJ were separate companies but everyone got tipped.

I'd check whether there is anything in your contract or invoice that mentions a gratuity or charge for the helpers. If not it would be a nice gesture to tip them, especially if you notice them doing a great job and helping your guests have fun! Some general info about tipping is contained in our tipping guide, that might help a bit with understanding what is expected
