Omg this method is waaaay easier than trying to do the ribbon around the votives I was originally attempting, all thanks to the foiled paper doilies! I thought 100% these votives weren’t tapered and the reviews even said so but I knew that was a lie as soon as I tried wrapping the rooks lacy ribbon around them. It was nearly impossible to get it right so I scrapped the idea. Takes some cutting of the doilies but they’re so thin I can cut multiples at a time. Two little dots of hot glue and viola! Testing out my 6 hr tealight right now in one of them!
