I’m doing my favors— grandpas cookies with the recipe attached
Ceremony ceiling cover— sheer fabric with hanging baby’s breath installations
Centerpieces— candles, flowers, candelabras Welcome area— draped flowers, pictures of us attached to a pallet, guestbook, Polaroid cameras And all of the signs for the welcome, table numbers, down the pathway from ceremony to reception. I’m using chalk markers on stained wood pieces or on clear floating picture frames.

I'm doing favors, centerpieces, and a card box...and I have ZERO talent so I'm semi terrified. I've been relying heavily on the responsiveness of all the lovely ladies in this app who take the time to respond to my questions 😊

View Quoted Comment Thank you! It is a lot of work to do these things. Luckily my grandparents let me store a lot of it in their spare bedrooms because the wedding is at their home. I’m just excited to have my vision come to life and I was gifted with a crafty family. I also love to do this stuff and a lot of it is cheaper than purchasing.

I have a close family friend helping me with the decorations as she's far more creative than me (I have no real talent haha) & can produce better results lol but I'm designing our invitations & the favors, I also plan on creating different ones for kids (we have quite a few coming & I want to include them as much as possible).

I’m pretty much making everything. We’re having a prayer flag hanging behind us in the ceremony; I’ve made my toss bouquet from dollar store flowers. I just made my card box. Will do centerpieces. A bridesmaid and her husband offered flowers, and we’ll probably arrange those together the day before the wedding.

I made my own bouquet, and making my own boutonnieres, invites/rsvps/programs/food labels/ and maybe some signs, i am paying to have a custom dress made, and i will be creating my own center pieces on the tables.

Mostly everything I have done myself. With internet you can do just about anything. Plus I got crafting friends

I am pretty much doing it all. I am having a Gothic themed wedding so we are making a faux fireplace that will look like a fire in it with the light bulbs sold on Amazon. Wall decor, about 2000, black crows. ( I have a scan n cut) All the bouquets, table decor and the arch decorations. Yes I am extremely busy but I know what I have is going to make it exactly what we want. So far its coming along great. Almost done and due to covid we are postponing to next year so I can breathe while making the fireplace! When I get it done I will post pictures. I have to get pictures of all the other stuff that is done already. Hopefully this weekend. Its a lot of work but I enjoy it!
