I don't see the connection between the items. I would prefer a more cohesive look/theme.

I think it’s super cool! You’re going to get 10000 different opinions. This sounds cliche but it’s totally true, if it’s what you want your wedding to look like then go for it!

I agree with this. I could see if maybe there was like an old fashioned reading lamp with it? Or glasses. Something to tie it together.

The only piece I'm questioning is the glass bell. It doesn't seem to fit for me but otherwise I love it!

Yeah I have been debating the bell too. I want to add like a fern garland along the table and maybe just leave the bell out since it’s not the same material. Thank you!!

I’m kinda going for “shabby chic” with the older vintage items. Every table would have a different pitcher or something vintage but not exactly the same? I don’t know if that makes since:/

I get what you're going for but, IMO, these items don't connect with each other. Just because something is vintage doesn't mean it will go with another vintage item. They just seem like random items placed together. As an example, vintage items that would go together: a teacup and saucer with ladies' gloves and the pearl necklace; or, books stacked (like yours) with vintage reading glasses and a lantern, or a teacup and saucer; etc. Each item I mentioned belong with each other; they are not random items placed together.

I would trade the bell out for an antique vase, or an hourglass, or an antique lantern maybe. Other then the bell, I like it!

Nice! Mine are all vintage and they don't match, but they look great because the flowers are all the same.

I personally love how eclectic the centerpiece is! I think it'll be so unique to have a different pitcher per table. Are you going to put flowers in the pitchers? I'm doing something similar for our centerpieces. Our theme is vintage aviation. The picture below is one idea I have. The only real difference is I'm going to use real flowers, and maybe add a few more small vases with flowers.

I love it! I had a very similar look. To bring a little cohesion to the look I added a small doily to protect my books (I collect vintage medical textbooks so it was kind of self serving too).

Yes! You took the words right out of my mouth. I didn’t see the connection with the pitcher, pearls, books and glass bell. But figured that it was, somehow, meaningful to the bride & groom.

If you’re going with a themed wedding, then work the theme in the right way. That would be my suggestion. Right now it looks like a game of Clue (ie. “Mrs. Pearl was murdered in the library by Mr. Bell, using a brass pitcher”).

Ultimately, I think you can make the idea work. Each each table can have a different grouping of vintage items that work together. But right now it’s just random!
