So my fiance and I are not getting married until May of 2021. And it is going to be a rather large celebration. So far we are counting 300 guests attending. I am American Indian and he is Mexican American, so trying to incorporate both heritages. However, we are taking our time planning and discussing things. I have been doing a lot of drawlings and crafting invitations etc. I have even made samples of our invitations, rsvp, etc. Our color scheme is royal blue, cream, ballet and a touch of rose gold. It's going to be beautiful. Trying to design a wedding with both Mexican and Native Lakota touches can be rather trying, however fun. Instead of a candle ceremony we are going to do a sand unity and a drinking from a traditional Lakota vase. Anyone have any Mexican ideas?
Planning on dream catchers, and hanging lights glass vials and vases with colored rocks floating candles with flowers and lights and more.
Has any one else done things like this? What are some of your ideas? No pics please unless you wish to share.
