I really want to make all our wedding flowers and have not really been able to find any flowers I like.i have been looking into the sola wood flowers, but don’t know if it will be super hard to make our bouquets and boutonnières. Have any of you used them? What are your thoughts?

My best friend used them for her wedding and I helped her build them. I used silk for mine, and I don't think they were any harder than my normal fake flowers.

I'm using them and love them. They are really fragile, so you have to be careful with them. I haven't put my bouquets together yet, I've been working on dying them so far. But I did make the bouts and I'm happy with how they turned out!

Order samples first. I ordered samples with the thought that I would have sola bouquets made. When I got the samples I realized they really weren't for me. I didn't like the hard stiff texture. I didn't feel like I was holding "flowers". Also, they were way too delicate for me. Edges easily chipped. Some people love them, but they were not for me. I'm using high-quality velvet and silk flowers. They look very real and feel more like flowers. Get samples so you know if they will work for you before you order a lot of them.
