diy Shoes ???

Has anyone ever done lace overlay on sneakers? I am thinking about wearing a pair of converse, but I can not find what I am looking for aside from on Etsy. Don't get me wrong, I do love shopping on Etsy, but I really do not want to spend over $100 on a pair of shoes when I may be able to make them myself for cheaper. Any have any pointers?

    Hey Brittany!! This sounds like a really great idea!

    Have you checked out YouTube for any tutorial or DIY videos that you could watch to see how easy/difficult doing it yourself would actually be?

    Also, you should consider how much your Converse will cost along with the lace and the equipment you will need to DIY them. This will ensure that you are actually saving money by making them and don’t end up spending the same amount!

    If you decide to do this yourself, I hope you post a photo of how they turn out! I’d love to see!

    I have looked at YouTube and found a tutorial for vans, but not chucks. The vans look simple to do, but I’m concerned about the holes for the laces. If I decide to make instead of buy I’ll be sure to post a pic.

    I FINALLY found a YouTube video using chucks and it looks pretty easy. I think I may try this.
