Can your caterer provide the desserts? That would be the easiest option.

I went to a Wedding that had a desert bar and it was fantastic! They had theirs on a big wheeled cart. It came from a bakery that they hired. I wonder if your caterer could get a hold of one? I also went to a Wedding that did a candy bar! It had cute cone shaped servers and all the candy was in Apocotherapy jars with scoops in each one. I’m not sure with Covid if that’s a good idea though. I would take that into consideration with your desert bar as well. Maybe individually wrap your deserts or cookies? Both of these Weddings were pre-Covid.

Maybe your venue can have someone to help out. Or you can hire a day of coordinator that can assist . That what we have to do since our planner won’t set up some of our decor I’m bringing I hired a separate coordinator.

Is the catering full service? Maybe they will set it out for you if you prefer to buy the desserts elsewhere. Or like someone else suggested, you could include dessert in the catering. I would only ask family members or friends to help the day-of, if they offer.
