Just wanted to share the sand ceremony that I did as a DIY for our wedding this Saturday, March 28. Colored salt and covered glass candy jar with three

votive candle holders. The white sand will be poured by the pastor representing devotion and spirituality. The blue represents the ocean and orange represents the sunset....both of which were to have been part of our destination beach wedding, which was cancelled due to beach closures. Having our ceremony outdoors on beautiful lawn at extended family church here in town. All will be well and wish you all continued congratulations!!

Thanks! The blue is one of our colors but the others are ivory, silver and deep purple. I couldn’t get purple to look right with the salt sand...it kept coming out grey. I think the orange will look great though and fits our cancelled sunset beach wedding theme. 😃

I thought about doing this since my mom did it at hers and she tells me that she wants to get rid of hers 😂. She said she has to find a place for it and it doesn't go with their decor in the house.

Needless to say, we aren't doing it.
