Hello! Had anybody DIY’d a round arch like the ones pictured? I know there has to be a way to make one, just looking for some advice! We are getting married indoors and I have struggled to find something to use as a backdrop that I actually like and haven’t had luck with rentals in my area.
I am actually making one myself for the wedding ceremony and the tables at the reception. We are using PEX pip and coupling to secure them and make the circle. Afloral.com has a great tutorial
Hi Elizabeth! I was looking into DIY-ing the same thing but found a round arbor online that worked perfectly so I ended up buying it. It is a little pricey, about $200, but I figured I could re-purpose it for garden/backyard decor or resell it.
I would think you would have to have a metal shop bend it for you. Don't know how else you would get the perfect circle you are looking for. That second one looks like it might be one really long piece of PVC pipe attached to the wood. That might work if you can find one continuous piece that is long enough. My FH is a great welder. He is making this arch for our ceremony out of square tubing. I am going to paint it gold.
