Is there any brides that are doing diy projects? Can you give me a order as to what u are doing them? How long did it take for you to complete it?

The only thing I'm doing is centerpeices and dessert and candy bar set up. The centerpieces will take most time I'll do those with my crew the say before. I have so far 16 guests tables and each will have 3 vases that need to be decorated. So that's gonna be 48 to get done. My family will do reception beautifying the night before also. We want to be completely free the morning of. We're taking off the day before for that stuff and our rehearsal dinner.

I remember doing centerpieces second to last and then getting my seating chart printed last. I made all the signs ahead of time though.

I plan to do table by table.

The first thing I did was decide on what I wanted my overall theme to be.

Next was centerpieces and table numbers

Photobooth table ( I found a mirror I fell in love with at Michaels for it) also our guest book

Now I am working on the cake table

Next will be the welcome table

    Remembrance table

    Popcorn bar table

    Card box/well wishes/gift table

    Bar

My sister is luckily helping me with signs. I made them and she is going to do the cricut wording so we can put them on the glass.

I still want to do the bubbles and happy tears kleenex that will go on the welcome table. I'll actually have to move that table to last since we will be doing escort cards.

I am sure I will have more as I go, but for now I am just making lists per table the things that I want to go on there and ideas/prices on how to do that. then when I finish a table it goes into its own box labeled by table.

I'm DIYing everything except the rings and the attire. I've made a list of each project I have planned. Then I have those broken down into what supplies are needed. I just keep working my way through the lists as my schedule allows. Some of our bigger projects need to wait until the weather is warmer since some of them require more space than I have in my house. As far as what order and how long they take? Well that really depends on your project, skill level, schedule, budget, etc.

I’m DIYing my centerpieces, invitations, signs, bouquets, boutonnieres, and these faux clouds made with polyester . I have no idea where to start or how to estimate how much time I will need to make them lol
