Diy place cards/table tents

Mariah, on February 26, 2021 at 8:43 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 2 10
Can anyone recommend an affordable way for printing your own table place cards? I have a nice color printer and could purchase some good card stock just need a program to upload everyone's names into.

Avery brand sells pre-perforated tent cards and has a downloadable template to use. It is super easy and inexpensive! They can be purchased at Walmart, Office Max, Amazon, etc.!

Make sure that cardstock goes through your printer. Most at home printers will not print anything thicker than standard copy paper. So going to Staples or a local printer will be your best bet.

Search Etsy! They have several templates that are less than $10 and you can add the names yourself and print. I also second the Avery pre-perforated tent card recommendation. I print on these all the time at home for my business. They'll save you a ton of time.

I second this. I used Avery tent cards for my escort cards and printed them on my home printer. The template was easy to use, and it took like no time (and minimal cost) to print all the cards I needed.

There are a ton of free templates online so all you’d have to do is buy your own paper and print it

We took our guest list to a small, local printer. Using our sketch, he helped design the card, i.e., size, font, font size, recommended weight card stock. He printed the names and professionally cut them (no dotted lines to tear on). We then used a stamp matching our theme to complete the look. It wasn't very expensive and I appreciated not having to work on it entirely alone.

If you don't mind paying for it, I know etsy has a ton of affordable digital downloads you can use!
