diy personalizing cloth face masks for guests

Tracy, on July 29, 2020 at 11:13 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 5
I'm planning on giving our guests reusable face masks and amazing food in lieu of favors. Our wedding is Medieval themed with bits of geeky pop culture in there (because hey, it's US!). I want to add designs & quotes from LOTR, The Princess Bride and Harry Potter (three of our favorite books/series). I have a Cricut air2 machine, but don't know how to use it, yet, and don't believe I have time to master it before the wedding (50 days). Does anyone have suggestions on how to nicely decorate 15 cloth face masks? Getting them embroidered would be cost-prohibitive..

As i diy-er and cricut user i think its doable if you are only adding words to the masks. i would definitely do some practice runs but once you get the hang of it it can go pretty quickly. other ideas could be hand dye-ing them, you could get custom colors to match your wedding and package them cutely, you could order precut designs that you would press onto the masks yourself

I’ve also been seeing people use iron on patches for face masks

Do you have the budget to check out Etsy?

I know lots of nerdy crafty folks have been making great nerdy masks and selling them.

If not, there are lots of blogs out there with tutorials for cricuts.

Snap. Sorry, trying to type with the dog on my lap!
Thank you, everyone, for your suggestions! Alisa, ordering pre-made designs is brilliant! I didn't know that was even a thing!!
