I think your makeup is pretty in both photos!

Both are beautiful but if I have to pick, I like the eyes in the first pics and the lips in the second though I'm not sure if they would go together and you said the lip color would change.

No, I think the dramatic eye should speak for itself. Maybe something a little more mauve or taupe?

I much prefer your eyes in the 2nd look.

I like the eyes better in the second look. They look less harsh.

The general rule of makeup is to choose either bold eyes or bold lips so if you do a dramatic smoky eye the lips should be a neutral color and vice versa. I like the eyes in the 2nd picture better but the bottom eye liner is uneven. I'm not a fan of that shade of lipstick on you. The lipstick in the 1st picture is a little better but I still don't think it's your shade. Both are too pink. I would look for something with burgundy, mauve, or plum shades. Also, if you decide to do the smoky look then don't use the color so high on the lid. It should go on your lid and just above your crease then use a light taupe, light beige or light pink shadow just below the brow and blend it so it's seamless with the shadow on the lid.

It seems darker due to the bathroom lights. The color is actually a shiny white type color blended at the brow for the first picture. It’s uneven because my mom is also teaching me to do my own makeup. I never wear makeup so she has me do an eye when we try lol. I think she hopes I’ll start doing my makeup at the end of all of it haha. You can probably tell which eye I did. The day of she will be doing it fully. I’m thinking mauve for lips as well. I am not fond of plum either. I feel it also makes me look odd. I’m aware of the rule for lips as I said I was just testing a new product for her. Both colors will be changed most likely to a neutral shade. What I tried was a super stay lipstick. I was super impressed with it. I want the lips to last all day. It looks like you had red lips day of. You pull them off! 😀

Thank you! Yes, I went for the bold red lip to coordinate with my flowers, nails, and bridesmaids' dresses. My colors were burgundy and gold so I thought that would be a fun way to include burgundy, especially for a Christmas wedding.
