diy Invitation Printer

I am getting prepared to print my invitations for Our March 2021 wedding. What printer did you use for your invitations? These are the invitations we are using! Any insight would be great! I don’t want to spend a ton of money on a printer if it would just be cheaper to buy them from a printing companydiy Invitation Printer 1

I printed my own invites and I just used the same printer I had already. You can try a test one first if anything on any printer just to see

I have an HP envy 4520 that I like if you just want a printer recommendation. I used to have to print things on specialty paper at work and we usually used a desk sized (not the kind with a fax machine) printer that you load from the back instead of putting the paper in a drawer, which helps to prevent paper jams and keeps things lined up better with thicker/textured paper. Epson and Canon both make those.

My actual recommendation here would be to have them printed somewhere instead of printing them by yourself. We didn't even send invitations for our miniwedding, but we're planning to use Catprint for our wedding reception invitations and the whole project (invitations+envelopes, RSVPs+envelopes, insert cards) is going to cost around $300. They sent us a sample pack of every paper choice they offer, and they have a ton of options. We used Shutterfly for our save the dates, change the dates, and thank you cards. All of the cards came out great and they have amazing customer service. Both of those companies offer design-your-own options. (I designed all of our stationery.)
By the time you buy a printer and enough ink and paper to make your invitations, you will have spent more money than you would've to have them printed, and you'll end up doing a lot more work.

Most FedEx locations have industrial printers that you can use (usually under $1/page). They’re helpful with matching the right paper to printer and all of that too.
