diy guestbook

Heather, on July 31, 2019 at 4:05 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 1 14
I’m so sad. I smudged the date on my diy guestbook when I was removing the stencil. I’m so afraid to try to fix it, I don’t want to make it worse. I’m going to let it dry and try to make it look less smudged with a paint marker. Fingers crossed it works. Ugh.

That's a good idea, let it dry and just go over it again, maybe to bolden it and it should be fine Smiley smile

Same here- I would wait for it to try and then edge with a different color like gold or silver.

Don’t worry, we’re 2 weeks out, and last night I threw out the 23x23” wood welcome sign I was making for 4 days.

It came out really cute!! The smudge isn't even noticeable. But I agree with above, if it is bothering you, wait until it drys and then outline it in a different color.

I got the letter at AC Moore, they keep the larger letters towards the back of the store. This letter is 24”. I got a small sample can of wood stain from Home Depot, I believe the color I used was called honey.
