diy guest book

Dani, on February 23, 2021 at 9:24 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 3

So I had a friend from college make an illustrated portrait of me and fiancé in our wedding outfits. It is going to act as our guestbook and people will sign in the white space around us. It's super cute, but now I need to get it printed and framed. What kind of paper should I have it printed on, like a semi gloss or more of a matte? Also, do you think I should have people sign the actual poster or have it in a frame with glass and have people sign the glass? Thanks!

I would have it matted and framed without glass, have people sign the mat and then put the glass on later.

I’d do a matt finish. Have guests sign the border around the pic.

Have them sign the matte without the glass. Also make sure to use archival quality acid free pens so the ink doesn't fade over time.
