diy flowers

I’m debating on going with a florist and having real flowers or doing faux or silk flowers for the wedding. I also have an idea to create comic book paper ones for centerpieces at the reception. What are you going with? What have you heard from others?

You can always do a mix of both as well such as fake for bouquets and real for centerpieces or vice versa

I'm doing real touch silk flowers for the bouquets/bouts/corsages and no floral decor. It was the most economical way to incorporate flowers. Real flowers were just more than we wanted to spend, and it wasn't one of our higher priorities, so we're going with fake. But they will be so beautiful!!

    Check out flowermoxie.com !

I just ordered my flowers from here. They are DIY but is made super easy. They have collections or color schemes to choose from, or you can choose yourself, OR pay for a custom consult with them and they will create a unique collection for you. They ship all the flowers to you with a "recipe" (just says put x amount of each flower for the bridal bouquet, and x amount of these flowers for bridesmaids bouquets etc.) They also have lots of videos and tips on putting everything together. I've also messaged them a few times with random questions, and they always responded quickly and were really helpful.

I'm ordering our flowers from our local Kroger floral department! I didn't want to spend thousands on a traditional florist but really want fresh flowers!

I'm handmaking all my flowers from crepe paper. It sounds a little crazy but I'm really happy with the results so far, and I'm getting pretty close to being done

I thought about handmaking some, but I’m not sure I want to handmake all of my flowers! It’s definitely cheaper, but more time you have to put into it.
