Hey ladies,
My fiance and I are getting married in Dec. and since I own my own candle business we are making small candles as our wedding favors. We like the idea of doing a somewhat Christmas scented candle, but we'd like to offer another option as well. Any ideas? Our wedding is early Dec and while it will be winter theme, its not a Christmas themed.

Maybe a pine scent? or cranberry? Those make me think winter.

We were thinking about something with cranberry and maybe eucalyptus, since that's the greenery we chose.

A cranberry eucalyptus sounds so perfectly winter! I think even those who don't celebrate Christmas would love a heavy pine-y, woodsy scent for winter!

The cranberry and eucalyptus sounds perfect! You could also do a cozy baked goods scent like ginger bread, warm brown sugar, apple streusel

I second all this. I love candles and burn them all year round doesn’t matter the season as long as they smell good.

Any evergreen scent will go over well or spicy like a chai.

Not everyone is big into eucalyptus and I wouldn’t think of it as a winter scent. Browse the winter scent collections on the sites you buy your fragrance oils from.

Cranberry, vanilla, pine, eucalyptus, marshmallow, balsam/cedar...I’m sure anything you choose will be lovely!

I love that idea as a favor - and handmade too -- awesome. I love these dried flower candles. They can be used any season and have such a sweet, romantic look. Something like this in a votive would be perfect. Best of luck. Here is the link:
