DIY Eucalyptus Garland

Make one so you will know how many bundles you will need. Multiply x 10 and add a few.

Is this dried or fresh? I got fresh eucalyptus from a local wholesale floral shop. You may also be able to order online from somewhere like fiftyflowers.com. Either way, making one ahead of time is a good idea! ETA - spelling

Do you live near anyone that has eucalyptus? I was getting ready to order some and I realized one of my friends has a few different eucalyptus trees in her yard. I fear that the amount I think I will need will eventually be doubled. I agree with buying some and seeing what it looks like.

I saw a tutorial on the exact type of garland you want to do, and the florist said she used 1 bu seeded and 1/2 bu silver dollar for a 4 ft. garland.

Keep in mind that not all bunches are the same. I process a lot of eucalyptus at my job, and it varies a LOT in its length, fullness, and even stem number per bunch.

I actually just had someone loosely lay it on the tables, which ended up looking nice and was a time-saver for me.

Hi, we are doing the same around our centerpieces, many a little less full, how many branches or stems did you put down per table in these pictures? It looks like you did not cut them, we are putting them in a circle around the chargers, so I thought we would cut them 10 to 12 inches and scatter them with some baby's breath ,how many tables did you do and how many bunches did you use? My daughter is getting married in Baltimore, I looked up wholesale florists and they sell to individuals, one bunch seeded and sliver are $8 each 8 to 10 stems . I guess i will buy 5 bunches to scatter plus we are doing the flowers on the cake. and centerpieces so I am getting other things as well

Sorry, I was not there for set up, but I had 10 tables that seated 8 and had some leftover to use at the cake table and other places around the room. I think I ordered 10 bunches of eucalyptus.
