Hey y'all! For those of you who are not planning on hiring a dj for your ceremony & reception, how are you planning on organizing it? ESPECIALLY your ceremony music. Just curious!

Well my ceremony is outside and the rest is not so we're having musicless ceremony.
Otherwise we'll have a playlist on Spotify and assign a wedding party member to watch it

We are using my old iPad that will be in airplane mode with our playlists downloaded and it will be charging all the time we are using it. Spotify premium seems to be the best route for us!
Our Ceremony music will be on one playlist and our Reception will be the other playlist. We have a family friend running the ceremony music and a mother family friend running the reception. We will pay them both of course, but it will be less than a DJ!

We are choosing to use Spotify premium rather than a DJ. Our venue actual has a tailgater speaker that we can rent and one of my fiances' groomsmen will be manning the music. I plan to make a few playlists and label them according to when they will be played; like ceremony music, first dance song, dinner music, etc. I haven't worked out the small details like what device we are gonna use to play Spotify from, but I'm thinking either my laptop or our Ipad.

Our venue has a speaker system with an AUX cord, so we plan on just plugging up one of our phones. We have Apple Music and made separate playlists for the ceremony and reception. One of our friends is going to hit play and pause for everything

No, we are lucky enough to have a good sound system in our venue!

Our venue has a sound system so all we need to do is hook up our tablet to the aux cord! We’ll have playlists downloaded so we can set it to play and not worry about it, but enough variaty that we can change up the queue to whatever people are responding to

For our DJ we have a bunch of different labeled playlists for the ceremony and a few for the reception. I have a friend who is tech savvy controlling it and we are borrowing speakers and a DJ mixing board as well. We are going to be buying premium a couple moths ahead so we can see how it all works
