Any other brides to be out here diy gals? I'm literally saving around 4000 doing most of my own flowers, decos and invitations. Thanks to Pinterest and YouTube my FH is calling me busy bee cause I'm all a buzz he says flittering around from project to project. Lol I have to admit I'm having a wonderful time too. What are some of the things you are making and color scheme?
My favorite so far is a fish bowl that I coated with rubber bands and then painted. It has a beautiful clean elegant look.

I’m currently working on cups for the wedding party. They will be part of our gift to them for being in the wedding.

I'm a DIY bride as well. From March to now, we have done center pieces, table numbers, flower hoops, wedding favors, etc.... I enjoy doing my decorations , it keeps me busy. I just started on my card box.

Haven't started doing the crafts really. Only collecting supplies right now but I'm DIYing a lot of things. Making my own cake stands, center pieces, invites, veil, shoes, and signs. Trying to use things I own as much as possible. I hate to buy things to use for only one day. I'm making my own floral wreathes with lavender and greenery to put DIY paper lanterns on for my centerpieces. Making cake stands out of trays and candle sticks or dessert glasses for my cookie bar.

I made my own pew bows from white tulle! I saved a bunch of $, plus I could make them exactly how I wanted

We have DIY all over the place. I'm making the bouquets, boutinneres, my veil and garter, aisle runner (semi-diy), arch, entrance, programs, leaf confetti, backdrops (photo boot, bridal table), memorial wall, card box, favors...and probably something else I'm forgetting.

I loved making all of my DIY projects too- our entire wedding will be decorated for less than $500!

That is awesome. We are looking at 1000 total for church and ceremony. What are your ideas? I'm using fish bowls painted over rubber bands so when you take them off there is a beautiful elegant design. Going to put candles in them for a nice glow to walk down the isle to.
