Hi all! I wanted to share the mockup of my dessert table that I put together today, cuz I'm super excited! We'll be having various flavored cupcakes for our guests, and a small cake just for the two of us. I DIY'd the stands for the cupcakes out of thrifted plates, platters, and candlesticks from Goodwill, which I then spray painted gold. The mirrored platter, which will be for our little cake, was a local Facebook find for $10! Altogether I spent less than $50 on this spread! Still need to find a wooden box/stand to replace the cardboard box, so nevermind that

What do you all think?

Hi Elleena! These are absolutely perfect and such a good DIY project! Such a great idea on your part, a total dessert table DIY success. I also really love the idea of doing cupcakes for guests with just a small wedding cake for you both.

Thanks so much! I'm doing almost everything DIY haha. I'm making my centerpieces out of painted glass bottles and dried florals, I'm hand dying cheesecloth to use as draping across the head table, and I made candles in small jars to scatter across the tables plus a million other things!

So cute! I'm also doing a dessert bar/table with a small cake for fiance and I to cut into. What a great money saver! I'm stealing the idea!

I definitely recommend it! I was pricing cake plates and finding nothing under $20 - that adds up fast when you need a lot! Plus this was seriously super easy, which is the best kind of DIY
