diy center pieces and isle decorations

We’re having a barn wedding with the ceremony outside (we do have backup plan in case Ohio decides to have horrible weather lol) but we plan on making our own center pieces (have that all planed our) but I just had this idea last night and wanted an opinion.. so I thought about getting the wedding party together a few days before the wedding and having them all carve a pumpkin and use that with white lights or candles inside of it as isle decorations at the ends of each row of chairs good idea or not? (I’ve carved pumpkins my whole life they will not mold or anything after 1-2 days of being carved so not worried about that)

Yes!!! That’s the plan I love doing anything Halloween I do special effects makeup so it’ll be cool to incorporate Halloween into it

I'm doing something similar with my wedding party. We're putting together our own bouquets the day before. I love the pumpkin Idea!

That sounds fun but if I was your bridesmaid I would be super nervous about what to carve. As long as you help them decide on ideas (or templates) of stuff you want, it could be a fun thing! I think it would be a fun aisle marker
