diy cardbox finished!

I can’t take all the credit for this but this is thee perfectt example of buying secondhand items. I bought this birdcage style card box already painted with gold glitter on the top (which I think is thanks to its previous owner) from OfferUp for $30! I bought the “cards” sign on Mercari and the flowers are from the dollar tree. I love it! i have had all these for a few months now. Its always great to see the vision come out just like I wanted. diy cardbox finished! 1

That’s adorable! I looks like the metal lanterns that are so popular. I’m considering doing something like this with a lantern. I just have to decide what’s the best way to cut an opening for cards.
