Due to the limited seamstresses in my area, I've decided to tackle a diy bustle on my new dress. Any tips? When she held it up in the bridal shop, it looked really pretty with just one bustle point. I've been watching youtube videos and will probably start tonight.

Get an assistant. You need to be wearing the dress with your shoes. You need them to mark where the hook goes, and where the eye goes.

Use a strong thread. Look up "bridal sewing techniques" on you tube, she has a great one about bustles.
