Is any bride doing their own bouquets? Are you doing real or artificial flowers?

Where are you getting your flowers from if you don’t mind me asking? I went to my local hobby lobby and they didn’t have a good selection of what I wanted.

Omgoodness of course not. I ordered them off of Amazon actually. I have the brands if you want to look them up. But I found a bunch on there and I love them. My mom actually ordered a few off of wish and they are gorgeous but they were $9 a rose so we have limited of those.

Sola flowers 🥰💕🎉🤗 (FYI, I sang that as I typed it)
My SIL did them as a gift. LOVE THEM SO MUCH. She said they were fun and easy to do, but you can buy them completed too. 😍DIY Bouquets? 1

I used fake flowers for the bouquets and everything else except the centerpieces that I got from a mix of Amazon, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby. Myself, my MOH, and bridesmaids stayed up late making them at the last minute in our hotel room the night before the wedding. It was fun and funny and each made their own from the flower colors/types I had. They all came out wonderful and I love being able to bring out my bouquet over a year later and have it be the same as it was on the wedding day.

My mother made all the boutonnieres and they came out great as well. Saved a TON of money especially since Michaels and Hobby Lobby had numerous sales and coupons on the fake flowers. Buying premade fake bouquets and boutonnieres from online companies would have been over $700 and not even in the same colors or sizes I was hoping for. There is nothing wrong with DIY fake flowers for a wedding. There's SO many things that can be done with them too! Youtube has plenty of ideas Smiley smile

I plan on doing a bridal luncheon the day before and doing a "diy" package through my florist. She offers a bucket of flowers handgrown for my wedding based on my colors, my gals and I (thank goodness they love DIY!) are going to eat great food and have a fun time making our bouquets together! Debating between DIY bouquets and a florist. If we did the DIY bouquets, because fresh flowers are non negotiable, we would go with fiftyflowers.com which is less expensive than any silk/wood flowers.

Also, I don't plan to keep my bouquet except for pictures. Reselling stuff afterwards is too labor intensive/time consuming.

My flowers were artificial. Got them at Ac Moore, Hobby Lobby, and Michael’s. I designed the look and my mom cut the stems and put them in one of those I guess holders. (So it wasn’t taped and wrapped up) Here’s a picture DIY Bouquets? 7
