I Would Like To DIY My Table Numbers And Signs Using Acrylic Like The Picture Below. Im Having Trouble Finding Some That Arent Crazy Expensive..I Dont Want To DIY If It Will Cost More Then Just Buying Premade Ones. Any Suggestions? Has Anyone Done This And What Kind Of Paint/Marker/Chalk Did You Use? Thanks.

We made acrylic signs and used vinyl for the designs. If you know someone with a Cricut or a silhouette, they may be able to work something out with you for cheaper than places like Etsy. If you just need a simple design, you could print it, place it behind the acrylic, and trace with a paint marker.

I also want to do this! Cost savings are great and I’d love to do something with my time during this pandemic!

Those Are So Pretty. Any Idea Where I Can Get Pre-cut Ones That Aren't Too Costly?

If you don’t personally know someone with a cutting machine, I would checkout Etsy. The cost will depend on the seller though.

I am making similar signs, but using picture frames instead of acrylic. I used a chalk pen for what I've done so far, but I think an oil based paint pen (like Sharpie paint pen) would be better and more durable. I didn't want to spend the money on vinyl from Etsy, so I printed the words on my computer then traced onto the glass with the pen.

I’ve seen a lot on amazon, all different sizes. I also know Lowe’s will cut acrylic for you. I was in the process of checking Lowe’s out when the lockdown happened, but I’ve seen good reviews. I plan to DIY my signs too.

I bought acrylic from Home Depot in different sizes for our different signs (this one still needs to have the back painted) and sharpie oil based paint pens from Michael’s and followed this tutorial https://somethingturquoise.com/2016/04/29/diy-hand-lettered-acrylic-wedding-signs/

Honestly, check places like Facebook Marketplace! I'm sure there are plenty of brides trying to get rid of table numbers similar to what you're looking for!

Acrylic itself is expensive. I would use glass or plastic from picture frames.
