DIY Acrylic Signs (Pt.II) *update*

FMP, on August 26, 2017 at 8:55 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 32

Some of you may remember my acrylic table numbers from a couple of weeks ago. I was able to finish the last of my acrylic decor pieces for the wedding today. Here is my card box, guestbook sign, and signature drink sign. Its so nice to check one more thing off of the to-do list Smiley smile

@Wendy, I ordered acrylic sheets (4x6 for the table numbers, 5x7 for the signature drink, 8x8 for the guestbook sign). I printed the text that I wanted in Word (resize the page to the size of the acrylic sheet, then flip the image so the words are backwards). After you print the page, lay the acrylic sheet on top of it and trace the text with a paint pen or acrylic paint/ paintbrush. I noticed the Sharpie paint paints scratch off really easily, so I opted for a paint brush and acrylic paint.

I made a few adjustments to these after I posted last night because I noticed some words were too close together. The smaller the sheet and words, the harder it is to trace so keep that in mind Smiley winking

Update: Made some changes to the signature drink sign. It needed a little more pizazz!
