Display engagement pictures?

bridetobe, on June 4, 2015 at 1:44 PM Posted in Planning 0 10

I was wondering if you guys have any ideas of how to display them tastefully. I was going to get a big canvas of one picture made for people to sign at the bridal shower (about 60 guests) because i think it'll be too small for over 200 people to sign at the wedding. I was thinking of a guestbook with pictures and pages for people to sign but I feel like I'll never look at a guestbook after the first month.

You can get on shutterfly and make a photo book using your engagement pictures, then use it as your guest book!

You could also string your printed pictures with jute and small clothes pins.

I really like the guest book idea. Yes you might not look at it often, but if it becomes a coffee table book because it's really pretty and has your awesome pictures in it, you'll look at it. And hey even if you don't look at it, guests at your house will. I had never seen the guest book with pictures in it before until last Sunday at the bridal show and I REALLY want one (a whopping $400 book from the photographer - eek) so maybe I'll get mine from shutterfly or something that's not too expensive.

I decided to go the guest book route as well because I had zero idea what to do for a guest book and it was free from WW.

I attended a wedding last year where pictures of the couple were at each table. It was very cute. My cousin had purchased frames from Ikea to put 2 pictures in back to back so they can be seen from each side of her tables. I don't know if she is still doing that but I can't wait to find out!

My cousin did the guestbook but also had a beautiful framed picture of the two of them set by the guestbook. I've also seen people incorporate pictures in other ways like using window panes, check out pinterest for ideas!

Our guestbook is a photo book of our engagement pictures, because I know I will never look at a traditional guest book again, but I will look at a guestbook if it has our e-pics in it Smiley smile

We are displaying ours in frames around the reception. There are two mantles, so I will put frames there.

I got a guestbook from Shutterfly and I LOVE it. I can't stop looking at it now. Smiley smile Plus the one I picked has some fun pages that hopefully people will write and answer.
