Disney Honeymoon!

Jailene, on September 24, 2019 at 2:50 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 8

We are very interested in a Disney World honeymoon! Does anyone have any travel sites, advice/tips, or travel agents that you think could help us?!

    Hi Jailene,

If you haven't already, you can definitely check out Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons. Good luck and Happy Planning!

Keep an eye on allears.net and disboards.com. Those will be 2 of the first places where information regarding hotel discounts will be found. Just check in every now and again and you may see a thread about a hotel promotion. If you've already made your hotel reservation with Disney, you can usually call in and have the discount added after the fact. I've definitely saved hundreds of dollars on trips by stumbling upon discounts people post about.

Also check out disneyfoodblog.com. They're great for getting info on what's going on in the parks!

Keep in mind that Disney books fast. You may want to book your hotel ASAP, but it doesn't have to be fully paid off until you arrive. My personal favorite is the Boardwalk Inn, or anything in the Boardwalk location because you can walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

And plan your days in advance. You have the option of booking Fast Passes 60 days before you arrive (if you're staying on Disney property). These are basically a "line jump" that you'll want to take advantage of. Figure out which parks you want to do which day, and what Fast Passes you want to schedule in that park. That way when it comes time to book them online, you'll know what you're looking for and it won't be so stressful.

    And have so much fun!!

Disboards on fb is great as well as Disney Florida fun for everyone. I would also recommend the Disney brides page. They are helpful. I love the dads guide to Walt Disney world as well as Disney touring blog. I believe the Disney touring blog has actual room searches if I remember correctly. I would definitely say to call Disney if you plan on staying on property. They most likely will go all out for you. When we were looking at going I had called in and we were offered tons of freebie things for it being our honeymoon. (Room upgrade extra fast passes etc)

Undercover Tourist is the best place to buy discounted tickets, sometimes better for hotels but only if they have a special going on.

I don’t know when you’re planning on going but I have an excellent Disney travel agent. Doesn’t cost you anything. Her name is Amy Shibilski reach for the magic destinations on Facebook. She’s been so helpful in planning our dining, fast passes and any questions we have. We are going November 1-9th for our honeymoon.

She got up at 4am PST to book our dining and fast passes so that we didn’t have too. It was great. Lol.

    best backpack ever!Disney Honeymoon! 2

Look into a Disney cruise! We are doing five nights on the magic this December! This will be our second Disney cruise and we don't have kids! There's plenty to do and enjoy on the boat and nice adult only areas. The best part is you just put the deposit and can make whatever payments you want till your paid in full date! And if you register your cruise on the Disney honeymoon sight your guest can contribute to any cruise activities you want to do. As far as Disney world my tips are: buy one of those mickey ear backpacks from amazon($17 -$25). They can hold up to four water bottles, snacks, phone charger, phone, credit cards, cash, and more! Plus its small enough for you to carry and bring on rides without worrying if it will fit the small ride pockets for stuff. Try looking for off property hotels that offer shuttle service to the parks! There's plenty in that area that offer cheaper rooms but i would start looking sooner than later. My biggest advice would be try to buy the park tickets in advance for you to do the fast passes on rides. Disney world has so much to do in the parks don't feel like you need to cram the whole day running around the park. You will never be able to do everything and ive had annual passes before and still haven't done everything at magic kingdom! Always stay for the fire works, dress light because its hot here!, wear comfy shoes since you can walk easily over 17,000 steps/7-10 miles, buy the hand held fans to help cool off, and enjoy! Disney world is the happiest place on earth! Good luck.
