Disney Dollar Dance

Jessey, on May 4, 2019 at 4:29 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6
My fiance decided that we want to dedicate our dollar dance to our boys and put the money towards our trip to Disney. So we are playing all Disney songs. I know our wedding is about he and I but I think it would be cute to include the boys in our dollar dance. People can dance with them if either one is up to it... yay or nay

I love it! Especially because you'll be tying it all in with Disney songs. I say go for it!

I've actually never been to a wedding with a dollar dance but I've seen it on some TV shows.. Is it a regional thing? We're up North so not sure of its origins Smiley smile

Im from north eastern pa and as far as I know the dollar dance is a polish or Eastern European thing. I say polish because my family is polish and we do the dance, but my fh family is Irish and they didn’t do it at any of their weddings. It’s traditionally done to a polka also.

It is rude to ask for money in any form. This includes the dollar dance, wishing well, and every other way people come up with to try to get money out of their guests. They are your guests; you host them.
