Okay so when renting dishware how much should you get of each item if your are having 70 guests. I am planning on doing a buffet. I am debating on getting just the glasses (and other items from the rental company) and just get the clear hard plastic plates from Sam's Club. How many glasses should I...

How many glasses should I get?

If I decided to get the plates from rental company, how many should I get?

Same goes for silverware?

Thanks ladies!

Oh okay. I didn't know because your pics of plates are clear and those plates are white and trimmed in silver or gold.

I have used those plates from Sam's Club for some events and I really like them. Of Course China, Glasses and silverware are best but if you don't have it in your budget, those plates work really well.

@Elizabeth, if your family is not into the "dishware", do what you want to do. It is your wedding and you know your guests.

In my world, guests will (did) remember place settings. Not as to "this brand or that" but, in that, we tend to make things fancier.

What are you going to do for cups? Wine glasses? The champagne toast? Does sam's have nice looking disposables?

@chuwana: I am letting everyone toast with what ever they are drinking. I don't drink champagne (and I don't know of one single guest that does), we don't drink wine, or cider.

I am either going to rent glass cups (pic 1) or just get clear plastic cups, then for the margaritas they have some margarita classes.
