Winter Wonder-land or big Blunder

Crystal, on December 26, 2018 at 10:32 PM Posted in Washington Planning 0 13

I there friends ! We are looking at having a winter wedding (I love the snow and the cold and all the cozy stuff that goes with it) but I'm having a heck of a time finding a venue in Washington that is even open for the winter. Any Suggestions?!?!

What sorts of venues are you looking at? Country clubs, ballrooms, etc. should be open year round! You might have a more difficult time if you’re looking into venues like barns, etc.

WithinSodo!!! if you're not a fan of ballrooms, barns, or anything old fashioned and just want something different I'd highly recommend it because I've had a great time planning my wedding with them. super affordable with their winter rates!!

Not sure exactly the style of venue you are looking for, but Salish lodge is cozy, romantic and beautiful! And the falls are gorgeous! They also deck it out in the winter and make it look so pretty! It’s where I got married but in the spring. Amazing venue!

Major hotels are open year-round. They often have great all-inclusive packages too.

Hotels are open year round. Another idea is historic homes. For example: Thornewood Castle or Stimson-Green Mansion.

Not sure if it's open, or how much you're looking to spend, but I came across Historic 1625 in Tacoma, and it is BEAUTIFUL!
