Who saw/has seen your dress?

I think I showed more ppl than I should've, some of my BMs, FMIL, FSIL, my mom, etc, but def not my FH, despite my urge to. But u will get over it and learn to not keep showing it

Well. I went with FW to buy hers. I sent her pics of me trying them on and we go to our appointments together. Pretty much if they ask, I'll show.

The only people attending the wedding that saw my dress were my parents and grandmother. A work colleague saw it as well simply because she saw me pin it on Pinterest when I first got engaged and then asked me if I was going to get it. I wanted everyone else to see it for the first time at the wedding.

My mom and my MOH. thats it.

My mom and four sisters have seen my dress. It's hanging in the spare bedroom closet but FH has not seen it yet. I did drink a little too much wine and showed it to one of my FH's friend's fiancée but I'm not counting that!

For what it's worth, as a guest I like being surprised and seeing the brides dress for the first time when they walk down the aisle so I'm trying not to show too many people. It's hard when I'm so excited!

My sister, mother and a few friends have seen my dress. I was asking them for opinions on the dress before I bought it! FH hasn't seen it and others haven't asked...yet.

Only my immediate family .... don't show everyone!!!

Hahahaha guess I'm the odd ball and I've shown anyone who asked... except my FH. But I really don't think they're going to get the same impression as the day of...but I also don't mind if people know?? It's something I've never really thought I needed to keep secret other than to FH...

I think I showed almost everyone I talked to but my husband, haha.

I showed anyone who asked, which was mainly just a lot of extended family. I kinda wish I hadn't, but then again, I LOVED my dress and was soooooo excited about it

My fmil, fsil, mom, sisters and a family friend came with me to try on the dress. I've shown one of my aunt's and a friend a picture, otherwise I'm trying to keep it under wraps, though it's hard cuz I just wanna show everyone!

I am not showing my dad because I really want to do sort of a first look with him, which is surprisingly driving him a little crazy

I've shown a lot of people (my family, some of FH's family, coworkers, girlfriends, etc.). My mom hasn't been happy about that as she thinks it'll ruin the mystique of it all? I guess I get where she's coming from, but I don't really care. All I care about is my FH not seeing it until that day.

I'm also customizing mine to an extent, so it won't look exactly the same as the dress I tried on.

My mom and one of my sisters were with me when I purchased the dress. I was not planning on showing anyone else until I shared with my third grade class that I was getting married in October. One of my students this week approached me and said "Ms. Mitchell do you have a picture of your dress on your phone?" *proceed to picture gallery to show photo to an 8 year old.

If people asked to see it, I showed them. Some people didn't want to see beforehand.

I wasn't real secretive with it.

My FH has seen the dress as he was there when I picked it out. He hasn't seen it with the veil though, so I'm not worried about it.

People who asked but it's mostly been really close friends and family. There will be plenty of people who haven't seen it. I also saw FH's stepsisters dress beforehand but totally forgot about it and still had that thrilling moment when she walked down the aisle. Seeing a picture of the dress is a lot different than seeing the final results after alterations, hair, and makeup.

Well, I intentionally showed my mom, dad, grandma, FMIL and my best friend. But FMIL took pictures at one of my fittings to show a bunch of people who have been asking her what I'm wearing. I don't mind though; they're asking because they can't imagine what I'll wear (I'm very hard to read).

Thanks everyone! I've shown my 2 MOHs, best friend, and parents and I think I'm going to stop there... despite how hard it is haha.

@loreen I love the idea of your students asking. I teach 3rd grade, and my students won't be coming to the wedding so maybe I'll just show all of them if they ask!!
