My fiancé has an appointment with Jos A Bank tonight, but I keep hearing that they are ridiculous with their pricing. We attempted to go to Mens Weathouse, but the one near us doesn't even carry anything for him to try on. There was no way I was going to just pick colors and order.

Jos A Bank and Men's Wearhouse are owned by the same company. I found their pricing to be almost identical. Just make sure you find a coupon, they both give them out frequently.

Depending on whether you want to go the traditional tux route, check into purchasing suits at JCPenney. My Dad and brother ended up purchasing suits for far cheaper than renting and they get to keep them.

We have a Man of Honor and a Best Man - they are both busy with kids so we just decided to go the Menguin route to make it convenient for them. Pricing may not be much better though. They sent me fabric swatches, and they have good reviews. We'll see how it goes!
ETA: FH is not renting, just to clarify
