Where did you get your bridesmaid dresses?

Sara, on May 20, 2014 at 1:53 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 27

Just wondered if anyone had any great recommendations, I'm aiming for the "same color scheme/mismatched style" idea.

Hi! We bought them at the boutique I bought my dress at. They provided the BM's with a discount because I bought my dress there Smiley smile

My girls got their mis-matched dresses at David's Bridal. It was the easiest place for everyone since all of my girls are spread all over the US!

My girls all wore JCrew dresses in purple (eggplant) chiffon... that didn't necessarily come from JCrew. (There are lots of online source for these).

Check out the Donna Morgan website. They have many different dresses in the same color. We got "the morgan" for bridesmaids and the one shoulder one for junior bridesmaid all in honeysuckle. $180. We ordered from a store on park avenue in Orlando. I think you have to find a store that sells Donna Morgan. Not sure if u can order directly, maybe.

My girls are wearing mismatched. All the same color/material/length but different tops. A friend of mine got married in January and told all of her girls to buy charcoal grey dresses. Most of them did (one didn't...long story), but colors look different in different materials. That is why we are doing the same material (chiffon)

My girls ordered convertible dresses online from henkaa.com. They take some practice but the color variety is there and they are good for bridesmaids of different sizes. Each of my girls has a different body type, so they can choose a style that flatters them.

My girls got their dresses at the same place I got my dress from. I was thinking of them being mismatched, so I gave them a fabric, color and length and told them they could pick whatever they liked. Andddd they picked the same dress *lol*

We're getting ours from RK Bridal. Brand is Bari Jay... I went with the MOH to try them on, on Sunday and one of the BM is going to try them on today. All 3 dresses are Bari Jay and we will order them before we leave the store.

We went to DM and try on dresses. This is the 3rd wedding my MOH been in and she said the DB dresses were similar to the other BM dresses she wore (even though neither of them got their dresses from DB). I also like the dresses from RK Bridal a lot better. RK bridal has way more of a variety. DB doesn't have a large selection of dresses for you to try on. Most of what you see online is not in the store and I def wanted them to be able to try on the dresses since they each have different body types.

I have two plus sized ladies and they are both in LOVE with a Mori Lee! As long as they use the same designer and fabric I told them I was fine with that since they're paying for the dress I want them to be happy with them too!

I'm ordering mine online from Tulle & Chantilly. They have a lot of options of style and can custom match colors and materials. Price is the same as a DB dress, too.
